Ohio Collective Bargaining Bill

The speaker of the house in Ohio hopes to have a collective bargaining bill passed by his chamber and to the governor's desk by early April that would restrict the bargaining powers of roughly 350 thousand teachers, firefighters, police officers and other public employees.

It also would ban them from striking.

So far, this legislation has passed the Republican-led state Senate and is now being considering by a House committee.
